The Theory of Nations

What do you have in yourself? Do you have something in yourself? There are many who cry for help and because there are no answers to their call for help they feel the pains in the pangs of neglect,  No, refuse to give up, believe in what God made, God made you and He never made a failure, believe that God has a purpose for your life you are not an accident in the world, your parents may tell you that they were not prepared for you and you just came,  well you are here now, you may have been born as a parental accident but you are not a divine accident.  God knew you were coming and he made sufficient provision for you, there's a place for you in the world and I'm helping you find that place, there are certain things you must do for all of what we have discussed to be a reality.

There are things that are not in abundant supply they are limited, one of them is time save time, keep track of your time, the bible says for us to redeem the time because the days are evil you don't have extra time life is not a game if you play a game they may  give you extra time but life is not a game, therefore, make everyday count for your life. Improve yourself every day, introduce something into your life that counts, choose to be a success become inspiring.  Be a lawyer with a difference, a police man with a difference, a soldier with a difference, a politician with a difference a school teacher with a difference a tailor with a difference a driver with a difference a cleaner with a difference a messenger with a difference a Governor with a difference a Senator with a difference, distinguish yourself with  excellence, if you're a musician be a musician with a difference, become inspiring , whatever you do, do it with excellence put yourself and your best into what you do and change your world.

Remember there's no extra time, therefore whatever you do now do it the best way the first time.  Success is waiting for the man who says yes to success, success is waiting for the man who plans for it who reaches out for it who says I will wake up and he wakes up, who says I will read this book and he read it, who says I'll go to school and it goes, success is waiting for the man who makes the decision, time is important don't spend your time watching television 24 hours a day, don't spend your time watching video 24 hours a day, those that you're watching have put their best into what you're watching, change the position, say to yourself I will be watched. Sometimes I'm concerned there are those who only think about designers perfume designers clothes designers shoes, where are your own designs? Challenge yourself for the future there's room for you,  there's a place for you at the top,  train your mind and use it, give yourself to a tutor, train yourself, train your mind and if you train your mind it will be ready to deliver to you  the right thoughts and ideas that will earn you commercial value.

There is no poverty for the man who has made an investment in his mind and is willing to act, there's no hunger for the man who has trained his mind to think through on every problem to solve every problem, train yourself think through a problem, and lender a solution. Let men come to you for advice decide to be a problem solver if you make that decision that's what you will be, problems solvers are in short supply in the world there's a place for the man who chooses to be one, engage yourself in national issues, some of you are the best writers in the country, but where are your writings? maybe you are sleeping too much, maybe you are resting too much, maybe you're playing too much, it's time to put your best into that writing let the country read your writings. It has been said that evil prevails when good men do nothing, it is also true that mundanity and mediocrity prevail where excellence is absent express your thoughts, act on the gains and provisions of democracy, the right of expression, express yourself express your thoughts speak up speak out and be heard, your society need you, contribute your ideas, you say nobody will listen to you, they will sooner or later, just keep talking just keep writing and constantly perfect your work improve yourself sooner or later they will listen to you. Last year I told you something, I told you, you are quotable.  Did you forget that? when I look at you I see extraordinary resources, when I look at you, I see wealth, I see greatness, that's what I see in you. I see the best doctors the best sportsmen the best engineers yes that's what I see in you, you must begin to see the same thing. The bible says let no man despise your youth, I know you can, you have it in you.

In America the black boys who were picked from the slums became some of the best basketballers; they have largely left that game for the black tall boys, the stout ones went into wrestling and boxing and became the best, they have left spots for the black for the African. Let me tell you a secret; your excellence is not limited to sports, your abilities are not limited to sports. In Europe some of the best footballers are from this country, the secret is this, our excellence is not limited to football, all of those sports are the result of mental work it proves we can do something with our minds, we can include the discipline to go further beyond the sports and produce the best books, the best schools, the best hospitals, we can set the pace and grow an extraordinary economy  in Africa. Translate and transit from the third world to the first world we can do it and we will.

I have explained to you that the micro ethno systems within sovereign nations are not only inter-related they are inter-dependent that means we need one another, I need you, you need me and because you need me I want to give you the best, I will improve myself so that when you require my abilities you will get the best of me, you must also improve yourself so that when I need u I can get the best of you together when we put the best together we can have a thriving nation, the key right now is education. let us all invest in education, let us all get concerned about education if you haven't gone to school go to school don't stop until you have done it, don't let poverty stop you, don't let lack or want stop you let nothing discourage you, go to school if they will not give you admission to any school go and buy books and start reading,  make that choice. The next five years the next 10 years, you will be ready, if you make that choice now in five years time the opportunity will be there and you will be ready. God has told me that the next few years, let me tell you exactly what he said,  he said son the next few years those that will matter in your nation will be those that you have influenced with the message that I gave you,  I believe him, in government, in politics, in academics the leaders of industry will be those that we have touched with the word of God, those  that we have been influenced with the word of God.

I have some words of caution, today's politics seems to me to be too dirty, listen you must make a difference don't practice politics of insults, don't use abusive language it is not right for politicians to insult themselves, never use insultive and abusive language against leaders it is wrong whether you're journalist or politicians never use insulting language, when you use insultive language it means you are of a poorer breed you are of a lesser quality, the excellent minds never insult, excellent minds never abuse there are higher words of communication never defame, never repeat a scandal you should have too much rank for that, you  should have too much excellence for that, train yourself to use excellent language to speak in praiseworthy terms use helpful and comforting words, leave the dirty job to others leave it to those who are untrained who are uncivilized practice high ideas, you can make a difference. You can run campaigns without being abusive, we must remember all of us may not join PDP or AC etc. all of us at the end of the elections will still be Nigerians.

No matter  your political ideas or the groups that you favour, you may not always be in such groups but you'll always be a Nigerian, therefore we must have mutual respect for other Nigerians if you don't respect him because he's in another party at least respect him because he's a Nigerian, is that important? you think that's important; yes it is, we can change our methods we can change our ways of doing things the future belongs to us, can you see the future? it's bright, lift your hands for a moment and I want you to pray for the Federal Republic of Nigeria, pray for this country, The future is yours.

The Theory of Nations

A State is ready for prosperity and development when it delivers to its people a robust Bill of Rights, a sense of liberty and freedom of expression. The purpose of a nation is the realization of human aspirations. It is in pursuance of man’s dreams or desire for happiness, prosperity, self-expression, ecological development, self-fulfillment and his insatiable and unending desire for self-discovery and maximization of his intellectual physical and spiritual abilities. All these, man knows, he cannot attain or achieve in isolation but in his relationship with like-minded creatures. The purpose of States, on the other hand, is to form such associations, providing and establishing justice, domestic tranquillity, common defense, promote the general welfare and secure their postulated ethnicity for themselves and their posterity.

It is to enact laws and provide force in ensuring that defined limits are not exceeded. As a people, we have attained statehood but we are yet to achieve nationhood. Why, in spite of government efforts, should the GDP (Gross Domestic Product) of African nations continue to drown? Why is their per-capita income so embarrassingly low compared to others? The answer lies in the fact that their Gross Mental Attitude is wrong. The answer lies in the fact that their Gross Mental Output is horrendously low. The answer is aggressive educational policy and programmes. The educational policies and programmes in African nations must be reviewed to foster intellectual and environmental productivity. We have our roles to play as individuals. There is individual social responsibility. In spite of the odds, we must learn to appreciate our gains in Africa. In Nigeria particularly, in spite of cheap propaganda against our country, Nigeria, I tell you, is still among the freest countries in the world.

There are those who may argue with that but many of us have traveled around the world, and we can tell you it’s true. We must be grateful for our opportunities so far: many of us should be grateful for the scholarships we received, the education, the environment, and even the wonderful, peace-loving people of Nigeria with whom we have been associated. Many of us have benefited from the structure of our society, whether you love it or hate it. We must now give back to it. This thinking is the beginning of the birth of nationhood-the idea that we owe our society something; that we owe our nation something. We must not resign ourselves to always call out for help and handouts; reaching out to be given something by the government or government representatives. We must make a solemn decision to play on the field, to become involved and be spectators no more. We must gladly render service and seek to improve our society. We must dream bigger and higher to create for ourselves and posterity a more secure, prosperous, virile and egalitarian society.

It is sad that at this time of our odyssey of self-realization as a nation, major corporations and business establishments have not committed themselves to the infrastructural development of the country, the country from which they have so graciously benefited. No wonder the outcry in the Nigeria Niger Delta is getting louder, though unheeded. I call on thriving banks to help build our University campuses, all the major banks in the country should become responsible for helping build infrastructures in our University Campuses, provide classrooms for secondary schools, let the money you are making show in the development of our nation.  I call on major business organizations and corporations in Nigeria to help fund education as a testimony of their commitment to our evolution to nationhood and the realization of our dream of transition from third-world to first. It is their responsibility to give back to a nation from which they have received so much.
