DEFINITION AND OUTWORKINGS OF GRACE – PART 2

“But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ” Ephesians 4:7

”But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever”. Amen. 2 Peter 3:18

THE 7 OUTWORKINGS OF GRACE

4. Joy.
Grace brings about Joy; joy indescribable and unspeakable. As a Christian walking in grace, let Joy work out through your life. When you take advantage of grace, the world will not be able to explain how you are always up there. Where they let worries and the cares of this life control them, they do not understand how you have become a distributor of joy. With grace in your life, you become dauntless even in seemingly difficult situations. When challenges come to you look inwards for the solution, because you know that: THE BIGGER THE PROBLEM, THE BIGGER THE TESTIMONY.

5. Liberality.
Grace brings LIBERALITY into your life. You have got to recognize that Grace opens a two-way channel; it is called giving and a receiving channel.  Recognize that giving is a Grace. When Grace opens up that passion to give; it also opens up your CAPACITY to receive.

6. Pleasure.
Grace brings about PLEASURE. Do you know that Pleasure comes spiritually and that you can take pleasure in all that God has created? Your life is for Him; recognizing this makes everything in your life pleasurable and yet pleasing to God. Now, Grace brings about a kind and happy pleasure that should make you appreciate the people and the things in your life.

7. Gift.
Grace brings GIFTs into your life. Grace brings about an uncanny ability to do what others cannot do. This can manifest itself by form of a skill, quality and understanding of certain areas. It’s important that you recognize the gift of God upon you and put it to use, it makes God’s power to come upon it.

CONCLUSION - YOUR ROLE WITH GRACE
God expects us to put his Grace to work as each one of us has been given grace. Make up your mind to put to work the GRACE upon your life. The Bible says in Romans 5:17 ’’For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ’’.

Make a firm decision to put to work the grace upon your life and you can be sure that your testimonies will be those of unprecedented manifestations of the Holy Ghost.

DEFINITION AND OUT-WORKINGS OF GRACE

“But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ” Ephesians 4:7

”But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever”. Amen. 2 Peter 3:18

WHAT IS GRACE?

Grace is the divine influence on the heart of a man and it is reflected or expressed outwardly. In other words, it is the out-working of a divine inward influence in your heart through God’s Word and the Holy Spirit. Grace is the glory of God working in a man’s spirit.

The Greek word for grace is ‘Charis’. It beautifies the spirit and would always show on the outside. Grace functions at different levels in our life. It locates you and brings you into the good place at the right and opportune time. Some people do define Grace as “unmerited favor” but this definition is from a negative point of view and is somewhat limited.

There is such a thing as to increase in grace, to grow (Auxano). As Christians, the Bible admonishes us to grow in grace even as we grow in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. Don’t work against Grace in other people; acknowledge, respect and help grow it when you find it manifesting in others around you.

The Grace of God can be seen in what it produces; as much as Grace is a divine working on the inside of a man, it manifests itself on the outside of a man in diverse ways:

GRACE PRODUCES THE FOLLOWING:

1. Acceptability.
There always is something about a man/woman with Grace that attracts people to him/her. Grace singles you out; they just don’t know why they are attracted towards you. Grace has got nothing to do with one’s status, profession or gender. You can turn on grace in your life; God gives you more Grace as you put to use the Grace He already made available to you. There are levels of Grace at which different Christians function. It should be your desire to function at the highest level of Grace possible.

2. The Advantage.
Grace brings and gives you the Advantage. As a Christian, you need to ALWAYS be conscious of the Grace of God upon your life, this is what makes it work and you need to recognize that you have got grace working for you. You do not need to struggle for/with anything in your life, if you put the Grace to work, it will deliver them to you, on a platter. Hallelujah! Grace is the glory of God working in a man’s spirit and it beautifies. Only the man with Grace recognizes Grace. Never try to work against Grace in a man’s life; one who does it, fights against the Source of Grace; Deity.

3. Favour.
Grace brings you FAVOUR. Good is turned towards the man with Grace and forgiveness always knocks at his door. Even when he seems to have made great mistakes, the Grace of God speaks for him. To walk in Grace means to walk in and with divine influence. It makes you have the mentality of “if I want anything, I will get it!” You are God’s trophy, and He wants everyone in the world to know how much he loves you. He is the ‘I am’ and you are the ‘in Him’. There is no need for the struggles and the worry wrinkles. Grace is available to deliver favour to you. Favour that comes by Grace comes by divine influence. Hallelujah! All He says is “yield to my Word”.

The Scripture is laden with accounts explaining how God has given us the measure of Grace. Much more, we have a huge role to play in making sure that the purpose for the Grace is accomplished. God expects us to put his Grace to work by careful study and meditation of His Word, which is the Word of Grace.

It's our Month of Increased Grace! There's increased grace for growth; for ministration; grace to do all things. You can do more for the LORD.

Grace And Peace In Increasing Measure

Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord (2 Peter 1:2).

From the verse of scripture above, we can understand that the way to have grace and peace multiplied in your life is through the knowledge (Greek: epignosis) of God, and of Jesus, our Lord. Someone may lament, “Please pray for me; my life is in a mess. I don’t have peace at home; I don’t have peace where I work. There’s no peace in my heart; I really need prayers.”

You may pray for such a person, but it might not work, because the Word is clear as to how to enjoy greater peace in your life: It’s through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus, our Lord. God wants you to know, and live by His Word, because the more you know Him, the more grace and peace you stand to enjoy in your life.

Moreover, “peace” here, isn’t just referring to ordinary peace of being quiet or mere solitude. The Greek word for peace is “eirene,” which is akin to the Hebrew, “shalom,” which means peace with rest and prosperity put together. In other words, through the knowledge of God, you’re at home with prosperity! Everything about your life works out right. You’re not fretful or agitated over anything! Irrespective of what happens, you’re unperturbed, you’re in charge, and in control.

As you learn more about Jesus and meditate on His Word; as you learn about the Father through fellowship, more revelations will come to you. The knowledge of His Word makes us masters, causing your life to be filled with immeasurable grace and peace.
Notice the Bible doesn’t say, “Grace and peace shall be ADDED unto you,” but that they’ll be “multiplied unto you.” In your life, it’s possible to keep heaping up grace and peace in increasing measure. John 1:16 says of His fullness have we all received, grace heaped upon grace. So, enjoy grace and peace in your life, by increasing your knowledge of Him. Praise God!

"EVER-INCREASING GRACE"

But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To Him be glory both now and forever: Amen (2 Peter 3:18).
Grace is the outward reflection of the inner workings of the power of God in your life. It's of the beauty and influence of the Holy Spirit, and the Word of God in you, producing acceptability, advantage, favour, joy, liberality, gift and pleasure. Every Christian has received grace in abundance (Roman 5:17); but the measure or degree to which it's seen and reflected through you is dependent on you.

You have the responsibility to see to it that the grace of God upon your life increases in greater measure. 2 Peter 1:2 shows you how the grace of God can be multiplied in your life; it's through the knowledge of God and the Lord Jesus: "Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God and of our Lord Jesus Christ." As the knowledge of God and His Word increases in your life, you'll walk in increased grace. Your testimony then becomes like that of the Apostles in the early Church: "And with great power gave the Apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all" (Acts 4:33).

The greek word translated "grow" in our opening verse is "auxano" and it means to give increase to, or enlarge. Notice that the Bible didn't say for you to pray to God for increase grace , rather it shows you how to "enlarge" or "give increase" to the grace that's already been available to you in Christ. You do this through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.

The Greek word for knowledge in 2Peter 1:2 is "epignosis." It means full knowledge that transcends, mere awareness; an esoteric knowledge-a discernment or full understanding of God and of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Recognize, perceive, and become fully acquainted with God and His living Word- Jesus Christ-and you'll walk in ever-increasing grace. That way, the grace of God that brings acceptability, advantage, beauty and excellence will function in you in ever-increasing measure in Jesus name, Amen!!!

Shout "Amen".

Bless Your World With The Anointing

But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you…(1 John 2:27).

Acts 19:12 tells us that handkerchiefs and aprons were taken from Paul to the sick: “…and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them.” This is just wonderful! The handkerchiefs, of course, had no intelligence whatsoever, but they contained the power of God. Paul transferred the anointing of the Spirit to the handkerchiefs, and when the handkerchiefs made contact with the sick, healings took place; demons checked out.

If handkerchiefs that had no intelligence could contain the power of God, how much more could you? Your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost, meaning that you’re a God-carrying vessel. You embody the very power of the Spirit.

Be conscious of it. With this power, you can accomplish tasks that are humanly impossible. You have to acknowledge that the anointing is in you. The Bible says, “That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus” (Philemon 1:6).

Get to know who you are; you’re a supernatural being. No devil, sickness, or disease can stay in your body. The Bible says, “…nothing shall by any means hurt you” (Luke 10:19). “...Greater is He that’s in you than he that’s in the world” (1John 4:4). With you, anything is possible (Mark 9:23). You’re full of power.

Reach out and bless your world with the power of the Holy Spirit: “Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, Bless Your World With The Anointing cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give” (Matthew 10:8).

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for the Word of your grace which builds me up and fills my heart with
divine treasures, causing me to bring forth fruit unto righteousness. I declare that the
Holy Spirit is working in, and through, me today; I manifest your glory, and bless my world
with your divine presence that I carry, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Born To Reign

...Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world… (John 18:37).
The Bible tells us how God appeared to Abraham when he was ninety years old, and blessed him. He said to him, “And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee” (Genesis 17:6). Some Bible translations say, “...some kings will come out of thee,” but that’s wrong. God wasn’t thinking about the kings of Israel and Judah that would reign over His people; He was talking about a generation that’d be born as kings.
In the following verse, the Lord said, “And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.” His everlasting covenant wasn’t with Abraham’s physical, earthly seeds like Isaac, Jacob etc., who only received the blessing in part.

Galatians 3:16 says, “Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.”
The seed He was talking about is Christ, and we’re heirs of the promises that were made to Abraham because we’re in
Christ: “And if ye [be] Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise” (Galatians 3:29).
So, when God said to Abraham“…kings shall come out of thee…,” He was actually talking of us, the new creation. Romans 5:17 says, “For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.” The Greek rendering of the word, “reign” accurately means “to king.” Thus, the actual Greek construction should be, “…they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall king in life, by one, Jesus Christ.”

You were born to reign (to king) in life over demons, sickness and disease, poverty, failure, circumstances and death, because you’re Abraham’s seed, and a joint heir with
Christ. Therefore, have the mentality of absolute success and dominion. Christ reigns on earth today through you.

CONFESSION
I know who I am! I’m Abraham’s seed and I reign and rule in this life. I walk in the consciousness of abundance and dominion because I’m a joint-heir with
Christ; therefore, all things are mine!

Don’t ‪#‎Delay‬
I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work (John
9:4).
Avoid ‪#‎procrastination‬. Don’t delay in the things you should do. Act at the right time; act while you can, because the opportunity may not always be there. What’s that vision the Lord laid in your heart at the beginning of the year?
How far have you fulfilled it? It could be about your evangelical work as a Christian or a minister of the Gospel. It could be about your job or family or even your health. Don’t delay. Be about what He asked you to do, and refuse to be distracted.
Oftentimes, when you don’t do what you should do at the right time, your inaction could prevent you from getting to the next level of your life. So, do the right things at the right time. It’s one of the benefits of yielding yourself to the Holy Spirit, and the Word of God; His wisdom propels you to do the right thing at the right time, the right way, for the right purpose.
Sometimes, the consequences of delay could take several years to correct; so, take action now. Don’t delay in doing the Lord’s bidding. Once you take the step and put the required effort into that which He has inspired you to do, His miracle-power comes upon your efforts, and His glory is revealed in what you do. So, don’t delay to act on His Word.
Don’t delay to act on His instructions and the inspirations that come to you.
Some people get the prompting of the Spirit to do something, but they ignore that prompting, because they want to pursue some other things first. Sadly, they often never get a second chance. It pays to know the voice of the Lord and respond promptly when He speaks. It pays to do what He wants you to do when He wants it done.
‪#‎PRAYER‬
Dear Father, I thank you for your wisdom, glory, grace, power, and the divine enablement you’ve imparted to my spirit so as to live the victorious Christian life, every day. By your Spirit, I’m divinely positioned to fulfil my destiny in Christ, fruitful in the ministry of reconciliation, to the glory of your Name, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Galatians 6:9 - 10 tells us: "And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith".
For 15min at 12noon (Local/GMT), we'll pray fervently in tongues, and for our Pastors and leaders in ministry, that they be continually strengthened with might by God's Spirit in their inner man; the Lord increasing His grace in their lives and granting them more boldness, utterance and opportunity to declare the Gospel of Christ freely.
At 10pm, we'll pray about our work, goals and visions for the advancement of the Kingdom, affirming that we run with the grace, wisdom, speed and ability given to us in this 'year of spreading'.
Affirm that you're ceasing every opportunity to propagate the Gospel, achieving your goals and exceeding your targets for the furtherance of the Gospel.
Pray also for the brethren in your church, and affirm that every member is fruitful and productive in the house of God, resulting in praise to our heavenly Father. Hallelujah! God bless you."

MONDAY RHAPSODY OF REALITIES

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES:

MONDAY: You Must Keep Bearing Fruits

He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none. Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground? And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it: And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down (Luke 13:6-9).
The scripture above is a parable told by the Lord Jesus Christ with which He emphasized the importance of fruitfulness in God’s Kingdom. The owner of the vineyard had come seeking fruit from a particular fig tree, but there was none. Then he said to the vinedresser, “Cut it down.” The vinedresser, however, pleaded for more time to cultivate the tree some more, perhaps eventually it’d produce fruits. Otherwise, it could be cut down. The tree was of no value in the vineyard if it wouldn’t produce any fruits. In the same way, the Christian is a tree of righteousness in the Lord’s vineyard and is expected to be productive (Isaiah 61:3). A Christian that’s not producing fruits of righteousness is like the fig tree which the owner of the vineyard said should be cut down, and to which he said, “…why cumbereth it the ground?” (Luke 13:7). In other words, why waste good ground for an unproductive tree?
Some Christians have been born again for a very long time, yet they’ve never led a soul to Christ; they’ve never brought someone else to church. That’s like the unproductive fig tree. If perhaps, you’ve been that way, you must make a change today! First, ask the Lord to forgive you. Then, ask the Holy Spirit to lead and guide you to witness to someone today about Jesus Christ. Start from today to tell others about
Jesus, who He is to you, and His saving grace. Paul said, “For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead” (2 Corinthians 5:14). Be passionate about bearing fruits for the Lord, because He desires that of you.

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for the opportunity to be inspired and instructed by your Word. I’m like a well-watered garden, fruitful at all times. I’m the fruit-bearing part of God’s vine and I’m producing durable fruits; fruits of righteousness, because I’m a tree of righteousness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
