Your Set Time To Laugh!

He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision (Psalm 2:4).

Sadness, Sorrow and regret are inconsistent with the Life that God has given to you in Christ. You were born into a life of unending joy, victory and advantage, thus laughter ought to be an integral part of your daily routine. People who don't laugh are usually weighed down by the cares of this world. They believe life is "serious business" and as such, they hardly find any reason to smile, let alone laugh. But laughter is therapeutic as well as spiritual.

That's why the Bible declares that "A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones" (Proverbs 17:22). Why wouldn't you laugh when you know that you're more than a conqueror? Why shouldn't you laugh when you know that all things work together for your good?

It doesn't matter what comes against you in life, learn to laugh your way to victory. Refuse to allow circumstances to dictate your happiness. The opening Scripture shows us that God laughs at the rantings of His enemies. Like your heavenly Father, learn to laugh the enemy to scorn when he starts throwing his tantrums at you. When tough times come, that's the time to laugh, for there's absolutely nothing the enemy could do to harm you.

No wonder Apostle James admonished that you ''count it all joy when you go through diverse tests"(James 1:2). If you've been facing trying times, I recommend to you ''laughing sessions." Sit all by yourself and meditate on the victorious life Christ has brought you into and begin to laugh! At first, you might even look ridiculous to yourself, but keep at it. It won't be long before the anointing comes on you, and you'll find yourself declaring the Word of God that'll change things.

Refuse to allow the circumstances of life to control your happiness; it's your set time to laugh your way to victory.

GATHERING SHEAVES

Mark 6: 31 - 44
This month bring in all the harvest, gather the fragments and let nothing be lost. Call forth the harvest and bring in all the Souls that have been won. This is also a month of Consolidation

Key points in Mark 6: 31 - 44 about the Seed and the Harvest

1. The Young lad saw the situation and brought what he had – five loaves and two fishes. Verse 38

No Seed is too small. Every Seed has the power to produce a harvest.

2.  Jesus received “the seed”, gave thanks and blessed it. Verse 41

Learn to give thanks. Our man of God has thought us to invoke the blessing on our Seeds and offerings, that it may multiply and become more than enough for what it was intended to accomplish.

3.  They gathered up the fragments and realized not only the miracle of feeding over 5,000 people but the harvest afterwards – 12 Baskets! – Verse 43.

Call in the harvest. Without this you may not realize what has come in.

This is one of the principles of Consolidation.

Consolidation - Definition

1. to bring together (separate parts) into a single or unified whole; unite; combine

2. to discard the unused or unwanted items of and organize the remaining:

3. to make solid or firm; solidify; strengthen:

4. Military. to strengthen by rearranging the position of ground combat troops after a successful attack.

Consolidate all the gains from the beginning of this year, all the Seeds sown, all the Souls won, all the work put into that project and rejoice over them. Gather all the blessings! Haleluyah!

CONFESSION:
I am strengthened with the strength of God. I am Fruitful and Productive. I am effective. I am blessed. I am joyful everyday. I am like a tree planted by the rivers of water. My leaves are ever fresh. Everything I do prospers. The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want. Greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world! Glory! Glory! Glory!

DON’T IGNORE THE SPIRIT!

The indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives is one of the greatest blessings we have as Christians. He is our advantage and the secret to a glorious and successful life. Thus, you must recognize and take advantage of His ministry in your life. Some Christians ignore the ministry of the Holy Spirit, hence their lives are out of joint; full of ups and downs.

It’s the ministry of the Holy Spirit to guide and lead in all affairs of life; it’s His ministry to grant you the wisdom and counsel you need to win every day in life. Consciously acknowledge His presence with you and in you, and learn to yield to Him always. Never ignore His counsel. The Bible says in Isaiah 30:21, “And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.” Whose voice do you think that is? It’s the voice of the Holy Spirit. He speaks to us daily on life’s issues through God’s Word, but many ignore His counsel because His voice is never strong and harsh against us. It matters that in whatever you do, you honour the presence of the Holy Spirit in your life. Don’t wound his tender compassion by consistently rejecting His counsel.

Perhaps you talked to someone rudely and the Holy Spirit corrected you, be quick to heed His correction and make the necessary amends. Otherwise, His voice that used to be clear to you may soon become faint and distant if you continually ignore Him. Live your life in a way that brings honour to the Holy Spirit; appreciate His presence in your life and you’d be glad you did. Praise God!

Make Today Count!

“For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succored thee; behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation” (2 Corinthians 6:2).

Regrets of yesterday and fears of tomorrow are enemies of today’s happiness. It doesn’t matter that yesterday’s assessments of you weren’t favourable; that was yesterday, and it’s gone. God doesn’t live in your yesterday; His Name is “I AM,” not “I WAS.”

Now, focus your attention on God’s Word to you now. A life of faith is not about yesterday or tomorrow; it’s about now! Meditate on God’s truth about your personality and identity in Christ, and not on the failures of the past or the fears of tomorrow.

Today counts; so make a move to be your best today. Tomorrow only belongs to those who take a hold of today, because, today is the springboard for tomorrow.

Make the best of your today!

MOVING HIGHER IN GOD

“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night; that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success” Joshua 1:8

The Word of God says in Matthew 12:34; that Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. In Proverbs 18:21; it says that Death and life are in the tongue and those that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. What controls your heart controls your mouth (words) and eventually controls the course of your life. To move higher in God and in the things He has called you to do, there are things you must do to walk in the path of your destiny in God.
`  Walk in Love: Be kind to people. Your relationship and attitude to other people is important. God takes interest in our relationship with one another. Be a builder of men, a helper; walk in love. Be a man or woman of no offense (Matthew 5:23 -24). Whatever you give attention to, you become better at it. Practice kindness; use the right words when you communicate with others. Treat people right; watch your relationship with others. God tells a man that cares. When you care about others you will receive insight and then foresight into the future.

Be humble: Humility is yielding to the Word of God. It’s when the Word of God becomes law in your heart. It is giving His Word pride of place in your heart and subjecting yourself to the Word of God in all you do (Psalm 37 – Study). When you are humble, God gives grace to you.

Testify (Malachi 3:16): Learn to share testimonies. Don’t be a bearer of bad news but that of good news (Romans 10:13 -15). Share the testimonies of the great things God has done in your life and in the life of those around you.

Be a faithful steward and custodian (1 Corinthians 4:2): Faithfulness with what you have is a strong reason for promotion. Take care of things that have been put under your care. Attend faithfully to whatever you do and as you do this, God turns on the light in your spirit to receive inspiration and ideas. Then He begins to open doors in accordance with the inspiration He’s giving you. And whatever God needs to do to put you in that place that He spoke about, He will do it speedily.

To move higher in the things of God and most of all in your relationship with Him, you must give quality time to the study of His Word. It is also important that as you study the Word you commit yourself to doing what the Word has said concerning you in all situations no matter the circumstance. Let the Word of God be your constitution for life. The Word of God says in James 1:22; But be ye doers of the Word and not hearers only; deceiving your own selves.   You are a doer of the Word
