CONTROL THE CIRCUMSTANCES OF YOUR LIFE

“For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.” 1 John 5:4
When you study Jesus and the way He responded to different circumstances, you’ll discover He was always in charge. His language was that of faith and absolute mastery. He was always in control, unperturbed by anything. His words were faith-filled, and He displayed an attitude of rest in the midst of turmoil. This is the life He’s given us; a life of absolute mastery, where you cease from all worries and express your faith unperturbed.
Even when He was told His friend Lazarus had been dead and buried four days, Jesus remained unruffled. Instead, with all calmness and assurance, He told Mary and Martha, Lazarus’ sisters: “…I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live” (John 11:25). Nothing could shake Him; He was the picture of supreme confidence! He stood at the entrance of the sepulchre, uttered a simple prayer of thanks to the Father, and called out: “Lazarus, come out!” The man that had been dead for four days came hopping out of the grave alive! (John 11:41-44).

That was faith functioning from a place of rest and absolute mastery. Faith recognises no fear, because it trusts in the ability of God. When you’re faced with challenges, don’t cower or become frightful or fretful. Be in charge, irrespective of what happens around you. If you receive negative news from afar, maintain your composure and declare God’s Word. Take charge. Refuse to worry; just give the Word and effect a change. Hallelujah!

Discipline Your Mind For Success

Train me, GOD, to walk straight; then I'll follow your true path. Put me together, one heart and mind; then, undivided, I’ll worship in joyful fear (Psalms 86:11 MSG).

When you want to chart a new course, create new vistas, attain a new level of prosperity, or set new goals for growth, you have to learn to use your mind. Your mind is a tool that can be disciplined. You can teach it to focus in one direction, instead of vacillating in thoughts. This way, you’ll be able to use your mind to prepare your heart to accomplish greater things. Isaiah 26:3 says, “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.” By staying your mind on the Lord, you’re disciplining your mind to focus on the Word of God concerning you and what you're doing. The result is that you’ll experience the extraordinary peace of God that gives rest and prosperity.

Take your mind away from anything and everything that distracts, and focus your attention on God. Choose to only be around those who love the Lord, and discuss only with those who’ll inspire you. Keep away from people who’ll deflate your faith, and try to talk you out of what you want to achieve. Set time aside for study and meditation on the Word. To stay your mind on God, you have to stay your mind on His Word. Joshua 1:8 says, “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”

In addition, speak in other tongues at every opportunity you have to be alone because you’re about something; you want to birth new visions and ideas. Keep at it, and soon enough, you'd receive the note of victory in your spirit and know that everything is settled, “And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:7).

'Take Charge of Your Life'

Many a time, we look at our friends' life and wonder how successful life they are leading and they have come a long way. Does it make you feel envious? Do you start feeling dejected at your own? If yes, it clearly indicates that you are not satisfied with the way you are living and what you have achieved so far.

Actually, it happens to everyone, but here what you need to understand is it 'You' who can change the way you have been living your life. You have the power and capabilities to change your destiny and achieve everything all you have ever wanted. Nobody is going to be your true mate but you. Give your dreams wings to fly; understand the purpose of your birth; embrace everything that has been decided by God. Take the plunge, go an extra mile to achieve your targets and don't let circumstances suck your zest. Once you have conquered yourself, you will start living a life worth inspiring.

“And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified (Acts 20:32). Words are powerful; they actually constitute the building blocks of our lives. Whether you know it or not, you built whatever life you're living right now with your words. If for any reason, you're dissatisfied with your present circumstances, you can take charge of your life and steer it away from where it is now to where you want it to be. The Bible commands us that the Word of God (Hebrews 11:3) framed the world.

God gave form, beauty and order to the world through His spoken Word; He spoke creation into existence. Genesis 1:2 says, “And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep, this was the chaotic picture of the earth before God took charge and turned things around by His Spirit, through the spoken Word. He said, “let there be light: and there was light (Genesis 1:3). He spoke forth light, to replace darkness. Likewise, as a child of God, you can take charge of the circumstances of your life and turn things around for your good. It doesn't matter what condition you may be in right now; give the word and there'll be a change.

God gave us His Word as a tool with which to build our lives, and frame our world. You can create for yourself a victorious life of success, peace and prosperity through the Word of God in your mouth. The Psalmist describes the glorious life of the one who constantly talks or meditates on the Word: “And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bring forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper (Psalm 1:3). Take charge of your life today and make it what you want it to be! Meditate and talk God's Word concerning your health, success, victory and prosperity.
